Waste management is a crucial issue in the contemporary world, playing significant role fight against environmental problems. Inadequate waste leads to pollution of air, water, and soil with toxic harmful substances emission greenhouse gases, thereby contributing climate change, reduction biodiversity, destruction ecosystems, as well emergence diseases allergies animals. The primarily determined by its type source, recycling, incineration, landfilling being most common methods. healthcare sector, limited opportunities for reduction, has own unique approach management. In particular, dental presents considerable risk due hazardous it contains. A prime example such mercury (Hg), bioaccumulative metal that was commonly used amalgam over century. With available statistical data, possible recognize dentistry can pose serious threat environment, steps be taken control reduce production potential impact on environment.
